Rules & Regulations


1.CONDUCT

Pupils should realise that they are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behavior outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of the school on the part of the pupil shall make them liable to disciplinary action.Parents or Guardian are given to understand that they cannot dictate to the management and that the management has a right to say on what conditions they will admit or retain pupils in their schools.

2. ATTENDANCE

Regular attendance is one of the conditions under which a child is admitted.No leave of absence is granted except on previous written application from the parents/ guardians and then only for serious reasons which should be mentioned. Such absence before and after holidays renders a child liable to be struck off the rolls. All children must be in their respective classes from the first day of school or their names will be struck off and other children admitted in their place.
Non availability of reservation will not be accepted as a reason for coming late. 75% attendance is compulsory for promotion to the next class.

3. HOMEWORK AND CLEANLINESS

Regular attendance and study habits, prompt obedience, courtesy in speech and conduct, cleanliness of person, decent haircut are expected from each child. Hence, irregular attendance, habitual idleness, unsatisfactory application to studies, disobedience, objectionable moral influence and unsatisfactory conduct in and out of school justified dismissal of a child.

4. PUNCTUALITY

No child who has been absent for more than 3 days from school will be admitted to class without the Headmistress signature in the calendar. Children who are late will get their class teacher’s signature. Habitual late comers will be sent to the Headmistress.

5. BEHAVIOUR

When students have to move along the corridors, they must walk in silence and in a single line. The teacher in the class should be the last to leave.

6. HEALTH

Incase of illness, the child, on returning to school must bring a note in the
Calendar from his parents / guardians certifying to the fact. Failure to
produce this note may oblige the School to send the child home even during school hours. A child who has been suffering From an infections Disease must bring a doctor’ s certificate declaring him her fit to go to School without danger of infecting others. The Headmistress should be informed as soon as possible if due to illness a child is liable to be absent for 3 days. A medical Certificate should then be produced. Parents should not sent the child to school who is sick as school will not take any responsibility due to negligence on the part of parents.

7. UNLAWFULACTIVITY

A child of school going age is not expected to take part in political activities which shall hinder the performance.

8. RESPONSIBILITIES

A child must look after his/ her own belongings, Coats, raincoats, caps, jerseys, umbrellas, Tiffin carriers and all books must be marked with the name and class of the owner. It is not advisable for a child to have money or any other valuable articles with him/her. The School will not accept any responsibility for things which are lost. Kindly refrain from giving your child any novelty items that would distract others.

9. OBEDIENCE

Pupils are to obey their teachers and in the absence of the teachers obey the leader put in charge of class.

10. DAMAGES

A pupil who is found to have done damage of any kind in classes or school property has to make good the damage done. Library Books, Report Cards and School calendars should not be lost. If lost, they will have to be replaced by parents.

11. ACTIVITY

Children must participate in sports or activities outside school hours when required to represent the school.
Parents have to strictly adhere to the date and time to collect their ward’s progress card. In case of parents inability to collect the report cards due to any genuine reason, an authority letter should be given to the
