They learn to question, analyze, classify and communicate their perceptions. An unconventional system of education is adopted by the School where education is imparted through play-way methods and concepts are taught via origami, clay modelling, singing, dance, yoga and painting.
A well designed child- centered curriculum based on phonetics, provides the children with a strong foundation of spelling and vocabulary. The course strengthens the vital skills like motor and reading skills, language and communication skills, writing and number concepts. In essence we feel our school is a place where children, staff and families are valued and all work together to ensure that children are challenged academically, inspired creatively and supported and fostered in their emotional development. With the correct balance, our students develop the self-respect, confidence and self-esteem they need to succeed in life.
Bridging the gap between the nurturing environment of home and the disciplined demands of formal education is the primary goal of the School. Teachers enrich the curriculum through music, art, library and computer programs. The students also learn about the significance of festivals and are encouraged to imbibe Indian values in their lives.
The Primary School initially commenced with 198 students and 16 teaching and non-teaching staff in the year 1980-1981. The school now has a strength of 657 students and 37 teaching and non-teaching staff during the current year.
